Down & District DTC Open Agility Show, Castleward,
Saturday 24th May 2008
Well, a lovely day, the rain held off almost entirely all
day and some Glandore members even won rosettes! Congratulations to Jen &
Doc on winning into Grade 4, Louise & Vinnie with their 3rd, Eileen &
Molly for two 4ths and Caitlin & Freddie for their 6th! Full results on

Good Citizens' Tests, Holywood, Friday 23rd May

Congratulations to Aaron & Archie (BC), Robert &
Saab (GSD), Jennifer & Florrie (JRT), Tracey & Lynx (Lab. Ret.) &
Daniel & Lady (Rott.) on gaining their Bronze awards tonight! Silver next!
Huge congratulations also to Carys & Sukie (Min. Schnauzer), Lesley &
Hattie (Standard W/H Dachsund), Anne & Bisto (Min. Smooth Dachsund) and
Liz & Scratch (Lurcher) on passing their Gold awards,
photos to come! Judge Miriam McDowell from Castlereagh & District DTC
also said that these dogs were the best Gold candidates she has seen for some
time!, so we hope to see some of them starting to compete in the months/ years
to come!

Well done to Caitlin Strain & Freddie, with their win
in Pre-Beginners today! Congratulations also to all the other competitors,

All-Ireland Winter Agility League, finals held Saturday
18th April 2008
Special mention to Glenn Smart and Mutley (JRT) who managed
to come SECOND OVERALL in the Jumping competition, beating all dogs of all
sizes, excluding of course the winner! No mean feat!
Beginners' Agility Course 'graduates'!, Sunday 13th
April 2008
Today three of our latest Beginners graduated into the
intermediate section of the agility, passing their end of course assessment
with flying colours! They were Ryan with Shylo (Crossbreed), Carolyn with
Baxter (Golden Retriever) and Gill with Indi (Standard Poodle).Our new Beginners'
course starts on Sunday 20th April but it is already over-subscribed!
Tryouts for the GB Agility Team, England, Saturday
12th April 2008
Glenn & Mutley, accompanied by Louise and Ferris, travelled
over to the Midlands to compete for a chance of a place on the GB team which
will be competing in Europe in July 2008. With stiff competition, unfortunately
Mutley wasn't picked this time, but it was a fantastic achievement for the

Belfast Dog Show Society, Monday 25th March 2008
Special congratulations to Angie Smith and Sheba, who won
the Pre-Beginners' Obedience class today and thus have 'won out' of the class
on their first day of competition!- good luck with your obedience career in
